Meet Ace Shootout Team Hockey

This is the first in a series of posts featuring each celebrity team playing in the 2017 Ace Shootout premiering on March 27, 5:00 p.m. ET on Golf Channel.

Mike Eruzione and Clark Gillies return to the 2017 Ace Shootout to defend their championship from last year’s event.

Both Mike and Clark have storied careers in the hockey world. Mike Eruzione was the captain of the 1980 gold-medal “Miracle On Ice” US Hockey team and is a former Olympic sports commentator. He now tours the country as a motivational speaker, speaking on how to overcome adversity through commitment and teamwork. Mike is playing for Boston Children’s Hospital.

Clark Gillies is a four-time Stanley Cup winner and a former New York Islanders and Buffalo Sabres player. He was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2002. Clark is playing for Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York.
